The Friends
were established in 2000 to bring together those who care about
Verulamium Park.
The park is owned by the St Albans City and District Council, and maintained by their contractors. It covers part of the Roman city of Verulamium. We keep a
'watching eye' on the park as park users, encouraging and helping those
with formal
responsibilities to ensure that this beautiful open space is well maintained for the community and for future generations. The Friends organize frequent talks and activities, and publish three Newsletters a year. We welcome new members. More details here. See our recent programme and future plans. Our aim is to
